If you have a couple of hours to spare you can make a difference.

  • We need to defeat ballot proposal #1 calling for a NY State constitutional convention (see attached palm card).
  • The most important hours are 7-9 AM & 5-7 PM but anytime is good.
  • Contact VID’s campaign chairs if you are available to hand out our palm cards on Election Day:

  • You can pick up palm cards at VID Headquarters, 26 Perry St., at the following times:
    Thurs. 11/2 – 6-7:30 PM
    Sat. 11/4 – 11:00 AM-1:00 PM

    Tues. 11/7 – 7-9: AM; 4-7 PM

VID will launch the second Democratic Primary petitioning season on Saturday, June 9th at 9:30 am at our Clubhouse, 26 Perry St.,with a kick off breakfast graciously supplied by our Assemblywoman Deborah Glick.

We’ll be petitioning for our endorsed candidates for the Sept. 13th State Primary  – many of whom are club members –  until July 7th.

We will have two sets of petitions – one set of petitions is primarily for the west side of the district and another set for the east side of the district.

The clubhouse will be open on Saturday from 9:30 AM-1:00 PM.  It will also be open the week of June 11th, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00-8:00 pm and on Saturday’s through July 7th from 10:00am-1:00 pm.  We will be sending updates and reminders for the rest of the schedule.

Campaign Co-Chairs, Peter Crosta  and Tony Hoffmann will be principal contacts throughout our 2012 campaign season. You can check whether the club is open before you walk over by calling  (212) 741-2994.
