    VID Officer Elections completed on Jan. 12th In a well-attended meeting which also featured a thorough presentation on how to protect rent-stabilized tenants, VID members voted for the remaining slate of Officers and the 2017 Executive Committee.  Now, VID Officer Elections are complete.       At the December Membership Meeting There Will Be Officer Elections and Presidential Candidate Endorsement On Thursday, December 10th at 6:30 pm, St. Lukes Lutheran Church Annex, 83 Christopher St. members will elect a President and Vice President for the Club in 2016.  There will also be a vote called for the endorsement of a Democratic Presidential Candidate (Petitioning begins January 5th, 2016).         Clinton Wins Village Bean Poll Adding to Her Victories in a Very Big Week, Conducted by Nadine and Tony Hoffman, Jenifer Hoppe, Linda  Jacobson and Kathy Slawinsky on October 24th at Astor Place in Greenwich Village, 292 respondents gave Hillary Clinton a narrow edge over Bernie Sanders.  Martin O’Malley got traunced.
